Pretty in Pink at the Beach
A couple times a year my husband and I like to sneak off to the beach! Louisiana provides us with the luxury of access to several beaches within a short road trip's distance. Our favorite of which being Destin, Florida! The area is divine with sparking emerald waters and white sandy beaches! Some of our trips are more active than others. We enjoy biking around the property, fishing and have even been sailing while there. On this particular trip we had big plans to totally relax. I packed my bag with casual beach worthy attire, good reading material, and an oversized flamingo float! Just the essentials, you know! Ha! My husband and I enjoy traveling so much and love exploring new locations around the world. However, familiarity has its advantages when we really want to relax. For 90% of the trip, my attire consisted of a swimsuit, an oversized hat, and sunglasses. I did manage to "get dressed" a couple of times and loved my outfits so much!
Doesn't this pink flamingo top scream beach worthy? I am in love with the color, print, and off the shoulder style. I paired it with my favorite white cut off shorts from GAP and these precious lace up flatform espadrilles that I borrowed from my mom. She has such great taste in shoes! Lucky me! My white shades have been my summer wardrobe staple since wearing them on repeat in Paris! I finished the look off with my signature pineapple necklace and beach wave hair!
