Flannel Two Ways Pt. 2
Hey y'all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! I spent the day surrounded with the people I love and the food I love! I of course did a lot of Black Friday shopping too! My mom and I have shopped Black Friday sales since I was a little girl. It is a holiday tradition for us. There is something about the thrill of the hunt for bargains that kicks off my Christmas gift buying! I love it!
Let's talk flannel! Louisiana weather is extremely unpredictable. The temperatures fluctuate drastically day to day. Mix in some cold fronts, heat waves, and hurricanes and you pretty much have an example of our "typical" weather. When planning an outfit one must learn to improvise and be ready for weather changes throughout the day. I like to change my outfits up with layers. With this look I have taken my favorite flannel button up and added a layer of warmth to it with my H&M utility vest. For jeans I am wearing a pair of distressed denim from Old Navy. I love the way they fit! If you haven't tried the jeans at Old Navy you seriously need to get over there! They have so many wonderful styles to offer at a bargain price. For shoes I am wearing my favorite tan booties and finished the look off with my purse-sack! I love this outfit! It is perfect for Louisiana's unpredictable "fall" weather.
