Knits Not To Miss: The Fall Sweater Edit
Before the first leaf even turned to gold, the world was already buzzing about and anticipating fall fashion! Why do we love it so much? What is it about fall fashion that awakens, inspires and re-energizes our love for wardrobing! Personally, I live for the coziness that fall and winter bring about! I am very fortunate to be able to travel during the fall months each year! My husband, Cayle, and I always try to select the dreamiest of fall destinations to escape the South’s unbearable heat. We usually head to Europe as their autumn season tends to be the most charming and their temperatures are ideal! We usually stay for a few weeks and when we return the states have cooled down and fall is in the air! This travel plan is something we worked out several years ago and we look forward to our fall travels all year! This year we embraced the gorgeous autumn landscape of Ireland! I plan to write up a full article packed with every delicious detail very soon! Until then I will simply say that Ireland was nothing short of magical and the perfect place to frolic in the leaves and rolling green fields! I was also able to pick up my new favorite sweater that I plan to wear for years to come! It is the perfect color for my skin tone and the warmest knit I have ever worn! Nothing says fall has arrived quite like a new sweater! Year after year I look forward to pulling out all of my knitwear and begin outfit planning! I try to keep a healthy collection by purging at the end of each season. I rarely part with my beloved sweaters unless they have gotten a bit tattered or are showing wear. This year I have my eye on a few new knits that I am sharing below! I am currently loving high necks and turtlenecks and always oversized for maximum coziness and comfort!
