A Few Of My Favorite Things!
Let's talk faves! I have never written a blog post like this before! I tend to stay fashion based, focusing on personal styling and wardrobing! However, every year around this time I find myself hitting a lull. Once the end of July hits I am typically over summer and ready for a change in weather, scenery and wardrobing. Unfortunately, where I live tends to stay hot for a very long time. The promise of cold weather-wear is a far and distant hope. This is the time of year that I typically find new non-fashion favorites that I love! These are the products that I find myself recommending to friends and family! So today I want to share them with you! Below you will find a list of some of my favorite items and what I love about them!
Tanner
My current favorite sunless tanner is by Loving Tan! This product is amazing! I have been a devoted St. Tropez user for 5 years and never thought I would find anything better until I tried Loving Tan! I like the 2 Hour Express in Dark! Foundation
I have always been and will always be a Lancôme girl! Lancôme is my mother's foundation of choice! She taught me at an early age about the benefits of using good products that care for your skin! Just like that...a Lancôme lover was born! During the summer months I go one shade darker to match my sunless tanner! My favorite formula is the TEINT IDOLE ULTRA 24H LONG WEAR FOUNDATION! My normal shade is 110 IVOIRE C in the cooler months and 140 IVOIRE N in the warmer months! I have been using this formula for more years than I can count! It is amazing year-round but really proves its excellence in the hot summer months! Click HERE to shop the line!
At Home Coffees
Let me start by saying that I am just as addicted to Starbucks as the next person! However, lately I have really enjoyed making my own coffee at home in the mornings! Upon my doctors recommendation, I sought out a high-ground organic coffee that I love! I get it from Whole Foods and it is by a local coffee company! I would highly recommnend trying a locally sourced coffee! I add half of a pack of Truvia to it and a splash of hazelnut creamer and Cool Whip if I'm feeling like an extra treat! This coffee has been my favorite lately and I love that I can make it at home! If you're from around the Louisiana area or just curious as to what coffee brand I'm speaking so highly of, it's French Truck Cofee.
Go-To Bralettes
Let's just be real! I don't know anyone who enjoys wearing a traditional bra! They are of course necessary, but not always desirable. My current favorite bra is the lace bralette from Soma Intimates. This is the first and only bralette that I have found to be supportive and give the appearance of a traditional bra! They are so comfortable, supportive, feminine and pretty! I am in love! Travel Planning
It is no secret that my husband and I LOVE to travel! It is truly a thrill and blessing to get to travel to so many places and experience all that God has created! We do not take these opportunities for granite. We have a BIG international trip coming up in early Fall! This location has been on our list for years and we are finally going! I cannot wait to share videos and photos from that trip! The scenery will be insanely gorgeous! The second location is my FAVORITE place to visit in the States! This place is dreamy beyond words and encompasses everything enchanting a city can offer! This place gives me constant Christmas vibes and I can never get enough! You will have to stay tuned for the reveal of these two locations!
