A Dreamy Easter Look
Easter has always been one of my favorite times of the year! I have always loved the change of season and of course getting a special Easter Sunday dress for Church! As a little girl I recall waking up on Easter Sunday morning and digging into a perfectly decorated easter basket filled with candy and prizes! Southern moms know how to make the best Easter baskets! We would then get dressed and head off to Church! There was something about an Easter Sunday dress that felt more special than any of my other dresses! I loved every pastel, frilly detail! Truth be told, I still do! As an adult I still look at Easter as a reason to dress up! Not that I need much of a reason! Any day can be a dress up day in my world. Pastel frills are not reserved or restricted to any specific occasion! My husband has always called me his "Easter Girl"! My love of frilly pastel outfits run deep!
Let's talk about this outfit! I am a true lover of all things pink and ruffled or eyelet covered! Throw in a boater hat and a bunny and you have the formula for a "Brigette outfit"! I was so excited to get to shoot with this sweet little bunny! I love animals so much, so this made my day!
Would you believe that my top was only 15$? I ordered it from a seller on Amazon! My white eyelet skirt is from Jcrew last summer! I love the length and eyelet fabric! My pink slip on sandals are from Forever 21 and perfectly paired with this look! I topped the whole look off with my signature boater hat from American Eagle and white tassel earrings! I must say, I love the 90s feel of these tassel earrings! They were also another Amazon find and only 8$!
