Hats Off To The Weekend
Hey guys! Hope all is well! This has been such a relaxing weekend. Lately, I have been living for the weekend! There is something about sleeping in on a saturday morning and grabbing a late breakfast with my husband that fuels my week! I love the luxury of living without a schedule for a few days! I really cherish my time at home with my husband and my sweet French Bulldog Louie. I guess you could say I am a homebody. There are few things I enjoy more than hanging out on the couch and watching Netflix with a bowl of popcorn and the people that I love!
When I am not at home in my pjs (let's be honest that is my weekend uniform) I totally adore getting dressed up! I love putting on a full face of makeup curling my hair and planning an outfit. Usually my outfits literally come together on paper before I even try them on. I find outfit inspiration throughout my day all the time. I carry a tiny notebook in my purse that I like to jot ideas in. When in doubt over what to wear I pull out my notebook and choose from one of the pages. Once I have narrowed down my options I start trying on or playing dress up if you will! Ha! I feel like we never really grow out of playing dress-up! It's just too fun!
The key to planning a good outfit is to constantly stay inspired! Right now my biggest inspiration is the changing season! The outfit I am featuring today screams fall! The color palette and pieces are quintessential fall. My Piko dresses and tops have become a go to staple in my wardrobe! They lend themselves to so many outfit combinations. I love the rich burgundy color of this Piko dress and mixture of colors in my plaid infinity scarf! My hat is a resent find from a local boutique and perfectly complements the color pallet. Booties are a fall must! Mine are from last season and are so comfortable. This outfit made me feel fall ready!
