The Metallic Mini! Finally! I have searched high and low for the perfect metallic mini skirt! I had my eye on a few different ones throughout the holiday season and the past month. They all seemed to fall short of my expectation. They were either too short, poor quality or way overpriced. So when I came across this beauty in Zara's January sale I snapped it up quick! This skirt is perfection! Just the right length, well made and only $20! I mean you can't beat that! It was basically free! Zara pretty much gave me this skirt! Ha! 

A metallic mini is such a statement piece! One of my favorite ways to wear a statement skirt is with a good chunky knit. This gorgeous cream mock neck sweater was divine and also another January sale find from Gap. I love the contrast of the glam metallic skirt paired with this cozy knit! This mix of textures helped bring the metallic skirt into the daytime.

Another way to mix textures is with these gorgeous suede over the knee boots! This look feels effortless and fun! Don't be afraid to mix textures and bring some of your metallic pieces out for a spin in the daytime!
