Spring is one of my favorite times of the year in South Louisiana! For one fleeting moment the temperature lingers near pleasant and refreshing before turning into an oven when summer hits. Spring is the perfect time of year to get outside and enjoy all the beauty that Louisiana has to offer. Flowers are blooming and sprawling oaktrees stand majestic, dripping with spanish moss and charm! Enchanting would be an understatement for a scene this beautiful. Louisiana's entire landscape comes alive and I can't help but take advantage of all it's southern glory! 
  

There is something so feminine about pink scalloped suede. Don't ya think?! I found this gorgeous faux suede skirt on sale at a boutique for only $20! What a steal! I adore scalloped anything, so this skirt was a must have! My white sweater has become one of my favorite spring pieces! It is so easy to throw on with shorts, skirts, and jeans. A simple "front tuck" accentuates my waistline and keeps the proportions from feeling top heavy. On to the boots! Oh my heart! These suede boots are amazing! I got them on sale at Aldo for only $55! They are gorgeous and surprisingly comfortable! I am so glad I got my hands on them before my size sold out. I finished the look off with a gold choker necklace and a pair of white 50's inspired shades! Overall I feel like this outfit is fresh, feminine and perfect for a spring day in the south!
