Ode to October

See this form in the original post

October has always been such a magical month! My love for October truthfully started at birth, as it is my birthday month. Each year I look forward to a shift in seasons, changing weather and another year to celebrate all that God has blessed me with. This year has brought about good health, amazing travels, big career changes and new passions. I have loved this past year for so many reason and look forward to all that lies ahead!

The weather is finally starting to catch onto the shift in seasons in south Louisiana! I am one happy girl! At the first sight of temps in the high 70s I start pulling out all my favorite fall pieces. There is no better way to ring in October than leopard scarves, over the knee boots, and of course vintage ford trucks surrounded by pumpkins.

Let's get to the outfit! When in doubt, throw some leopard on! Leopard has become a neutral in my book and a fall staple. I found a few leopard scarves that are similar to mine here, here, and here! My cropped cream sweater ( similar here, here, and here ) was the perfect weight knit for this fall day. I tucked my dark denim jeans into my favorite over the knee boots and finished the look off with my new favorite fall bag.

This look was so comfortable for walking around and enjoying the weather and would be a breeze to recreate! Simply take your favorite sweater and scarf and pair it with jeans and your favorite boots. If over the knee boots are not quite your style yet, try a classic pair of riding boots instead. I own these riding boots and wear them as an alternative to the thigh high option (similar here). This outfit combination has honestly become my fall uniform through the years. It's a classic look that anyone can achieve!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog! Thank you so much for stopping by! Please feel free to leave comments below! I would love to chat with y'all about your favorite fall fashion pieces. Keep in mind that you can shop my entire look by clicking on the links throughout this post. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
