//The Sunny Side of the Street//

It's been a while.  I hope you have been well!

There is something about a trip to New Orleans that awakens adventure in me.  There is an excitement in the air and ANYTHING is possible.  One moment, you are admiring the cities' unique architecture...and then, find yourself walking through an urban garden watching the riverboats pass.  The city streets really are alive with energy, creativity, and rich Louisiana heritage.

New Orleans has evolved greatly through the years.  It is now modern and traditional.  You will find old south and new south perfectly blended together providing an experience that is uniquely New Orleans.

On this particular Saturday, we had planned a full day of eating, hoping, and photography.  Since I knew we were going to be outside most of the day, I wanted my outfit to be cool and breezy. My Old Navy gauzy swing dress was perfect for the Louisiana weather. My favorite parts of this dress are the sleeves, empire waist, and color scheme. I have been drawn to all things cream and navy lately.  My turquoise necklace is from Francesca's and is the perfect statement for my simple dress. My cognac sandals are an oldie but goody.  I have had them for years and they are so comfortable! Since I always try to keep my face covered on sunny days, my bucket hat was the perfect addition to finish off this easy breezy spring outfit.

PS, my dress is still available at Old Navy! My hat is from Joann Fabrics and is only $10.  Both items are currently available online and in stores.

Hope ya'll have a great week!!!
